How does the Dermamelan Intimate Peel work?
Stage 1 - Intensive depigmentation carried out at the clinic
The peel features a unique and potent combination of ingredients which increase cell renewal and treat the root cause of pigmentation. Developed exclusively by Mesoestetic, the [meso] Intimate System ensures maximum efficacy by integrating active ingredients that work alongside an innovative encapsulation system. This allows for controlled action, high skin tolerability, moisturising and repairing, and long-term maintenance of active ingredient effects. [GL] Inflamm, also exclusive to Mesoestetic, helps control inflammation, enhance progressive depigmentation, and support the skin’s defence mechanisms for reduced hypersensitivity reactions and restored skin balance.
Once applied to the intimate area, the peel is left on for 3-4 hours. After removal, a hydrating and soothing mask is applied over the treated area and left on for 10-15 minutes.
Stage 2 - At-home use treatment
Results are maintained with an at-home, daily use Depigmenting Gel Cream. Using ingredients such as Kojic Acid, Phytic Acid and Salicylic Acid, It treats and regulates genital hyperpigmentation, enhances elasticity, protects and moisturises, and improves skin barrier function of the vulval epithelium. Clinical results have shown a 60% reduction in pigmentation and 27% decrease in transepidermal water loss (TEWL).
