Over the last few months we have had some exciting new additions at EF MEDISPA. We’ve won a number of awards including Medical Aesthetic Clinic of the Year at the Professional Beauty Awards 2018 and Best Beauty Facility of the Year at the London Lifestyle Awards 2017. Along with new awards, we’ve introduced brand-new treatments such as Volite HA Boost, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy and most recently, The Ultimate Non-Surgical Butt Lift. We are now delighted to announce the newest members of the team at EF MEDISPA! Here’s a little bit about them...

 

Dr Ivona Igerc - Face design

Dr Ivona Igerc is a renowned expert in the field of aesthetics and regenerative medicine. Since graduating from the Medical University of Croatia in 2000, Dr Igerc has been practicing dentistry and aesthetics around the world for over 15 years. She has acquired extensive experience with Asian clientele through practicing aesthetics in China and South Korea. Having recently moved to the UK, Dr Igerc is the latest addition to EF MEDISPA’s team of experts.

Keen to stay abreast of developments within her field, Dr Igerc continuously carries out research and studies into stem cell, anti-ageing and regenerative medicine.  In 2012, Dr Igerc published ‘Face’ a book on anti-ageing and minimal invasive Aesthetic Medical and Dental Procedures. She also organises many international conferences and seminars to train fellow medical professionals in the field of anti-ageing treatments.

Held to a high-esteem and recognised globally for her technique with injectable anti-ageing treatments. Her professional approach and engaging manner has led to her developing a loyal client base who continually utilise and recommend her skills due to her impressive results.

Dr. Aikaterini Charakida

 
Dr. Aikaterini Charakida

Dr Aikaterini (Katerina) Charakida is an experienced Consultant Dermatologist specialising in Vaser Liposuction, Body Contouring procedures as well as General Dermatology and Aesthetic Dermatology.

She graduated with excellence in Medicine from Athens University in 1998 and began her specialist training in Dermato-Surgery at the University of Lyon in 2001. She furthered her training in Liposuction and Vaser Liposuction Surgery in 2008 at the SmartLipo Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona, and gained additional experience at acclaimed international institutions in Bulgaria and Colombia.

In 2010 she trained with renowned plastic surgeon Dr Alfredo Hoyos, in Colombia, specialising in Vaser Hi-Definition (Hi-Def) and Vaser 4D technique. Experienced in all aspects of Dermatology, Dr Charakida has a special interest in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dermatology. She performs countless mole and other lesion removals and specialises in minimal scarring techniques to provide her patients with the best aesthetic result.

Dr. Christopher Johnsson

Dr. Christopher Johnsson is our new Plastic Surgeon. Graduating in Medicine and Surgery from Gama Filho University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Dr. Johnsson was a student of  renowned plastic surgeon, Prof. Ivo Pitanguy, known as the best in Brazil and in the world.

 

Dr. Johnsson holds a full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) as well as registration with the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery and the Portuguese Order of Doctors (Ordem dos Médicos de Portugal).

Dr. Johnsson is passionate about meeting the needs of his patients, he focuses on quality methods and techniques. His patients come from all over the world, recognising his talent and admiring his mastery in the area.

Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber Libbie Wallace

Libbie Wallace

Libbie Wallace is our Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber. Originally from Perth, Western Australia where she became qualified as a registered general nurse, she moved to London in 1998.

Libbie has a great deal of surgical anatomical knowledge and a keen interest in skin rejuvenation. She continued her career in non-surgical facial aesthetics training under leading facial aesthetic experts in all aspects of medical aesthetics including Botulinum Toxin Type A injections, dermal fillers, mesotherapy, chemical peels and cosmeceuticals. Alongside working with us, Libby is furthering her industry knowledge by working towards a Masters in Aesthetic Medicine at the Queen Mary University of London.

Libbie will only provide treatments that will maximize the look of her patients and focuses on professional development to promote patient safety and meet patient expectations.

Dr Linda Fiumara

Dr. Linda Fiumara

Dr. Linda Fiumara is our Consultant Plastic Reconstructive Surgeon. Dr. Fiumara graduated with honours in Medicine and Surgery at the

First University of Rome “La Sapienca” and qualified as a Specialist in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2008.

With a specific interest in Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine, she holds full registration with the General Medical Council and is an associate member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons.

Dr Fiumara’s philosophy is to achieve natural results for her patients, along with providing the highest safety and personal care throughout her experience with them. She regularly attends international courses making a conscious effort to perfect her skills in cosmetic procedures.

Dr Fiumara will be performing the following surgical procedures at EF MEDISPA:
