What is Breast Reduction?
Breast Reduction surgery can help to reduce the size of large breasts and enhance asymmetries in the shape of the breasts. It is usual for women with large breasts to suffer from back, neck or shoulder pains as well as posture issues. If you are looking for a surgical solution to reduce your breast size, Breast Reduction at EF MEDISPA could be a solution.
If you choose to have your Breast Reduction procedure with us, after an initial consultation you will receive a full, personalised treatment plan that will include meeting with your Surgeon before treatment and aftercare provision from our expert medical team. At EF MEDISPA, Breast Reduction surgery will be carried out at our medical partner’s private facilities. The surgery itself typically takes only a few hours, which means you could be treated in a day, however, we do also provide the option of an overnight stay if needed.
What are the benefits of Breast Reduction?
Breast Reduction surgery can help you achieve the breast size and shape that you desire. Whether you wish to undergo a small reduction in size, alter the shape of your boobs, or dramatically decrease your cup size, our experienced medical team will be able to guide you through the process.
If you suffer from any physical discomfort, such as back pain, due to the size of your breasts then boob reduction surgery can help to overcome these concerns. At EF MEDISPA, boob reduction surgery is performed by highly experienced Surgeons who will be available to answer all of your questions before and after the surgery.
Having smaller boobs can not only benefit your posture, reducing the strain and discomfort on your back, neck and shoulders but can also open doors to a whole new wardrobe, enabling you to consider garments that were previously out of the question.

Step by Step Breast Reduction
1 No Obligation Consultation
It’s very important that you feel happy and comfortable with your choice of procedure, so before we book you in for any type of treatment, we’ll always ask you to attend a no obligation consultation. This is an opportunity for you to ask one of our expert Treatment Coordinators questions about Breast Reduction and to share details of your medical history and your personal procedure aims. You will learn about Breast Reduction surgery in much more detail and discuss the procedure itself and associated aftercare. If at this point you are happy to proceed with the treatment we will book you a consultation with one of our highly experienced surgeons.
2 Before Your Procedure
We prioritise good communication to help you to feel more comfortable around your medical team. With this in mind, you will always meet your surgeon in advance of your Breast Reduction procedure. At the meeting, you will be able to discuss the procedure in more detail and ask questions about how you will look and feel before and after the breast reduction procedure, we will also confirm the cost of your treatment.
Next, your Treatment Coordinator will schedule any tests required such as blood tests, an ultrasound or mammogram and discuss your aftercare plan with you, so that you know what to expect after your Breast Reduction surgery.
3 During your Procedure
On the day of the procedure, you will have the opportunity to meet with your surgeon again so they can run through any issues that you may wish to discuss, and then ask you for your final consent before proceeding. You will also meet your anaesthetist, who will administer general anaesthetic to ensure your comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Breast reduction surgery usually lasts between two and three hours. During the procedure your surgeon will make several careful incisions around the areola and in the crease of your breasts in order to remove unwanted tissue. The breast can then be reshaped and uplifted. You will then move to a private recovery suite, relaxing until you are ready to depart.
4 After Your Procedure
In your well-equipped recovery suite you will be made comfortable and have the option to relax with healthy snacks and herbal infusions. Your nurse will also guide you through your Breast Reduction aftercare; fitting your support bra and talking you through the painkillers and antibiotics you will need to take. Your medical team will monitor you closely until you are ready to continue your recovery at home.
