Bleph 21 for long lasting rejuvenation
In a world as fast-paced as ours, it can be hard to keep up. You might look in the mirror one day, and realise the reflection staring back at you isn’t quite what you remembered. Thankfully, the ever-evolving world around us can also work in your favour – at EF MEDISPA we’re always on top of the latest cosmetic technologies to help you look and feel better than ever, such as the FAMI™ (Fat Autograft Muscle Injection) technique and Bleph21.
FAMI™ has been a 15-year-long development process and now stands strong as one of the most sophisticated aesthetic treatments, helping you achieve incredible long-lasting results. It uses liposuction to extract your own adult stem cells (known as mother cells) from other areas of your body, such as the hips or thighs, and injects them into the areas you wish to improve. Once there, they multiply and repair tissue damaged by the natural ageing process, helping to transform and rejuvenate the skin.
Bleph21 uses the advanced FAMI™ technique to create a full eyelift. Normally, eyelid surgery can only fix drooping eyelids; you won’t notice a change in dark circles or wrinkles around the eyes. Bleph21 can changes all that, using FAMI™ techniques to target the entire region and can result in a youthful, rested and alert appearance. You shouldn't have to worry about tired eyes anymore – the world will be racing after you for once!
All treatments are tailored to the individual and personal experiences and results may vary. We recommend a one to one consultation with our treatment co-ordinators to discuss your treatment options.

Step by Step Bleph 21
1 NO OBLIGATION CONSULTATION
Your first step is a NO OBLIGATION consultation with one of EF MEDISPA’s expert Treatment Coordinators who will take your full medical history, listen to your concerns and talk to you about the procedure in detail.
2 MEET YOUR DOCTOR
Should you decide to move forward with the Bleph 21, you will meet the doctor for your initial consultation. Your full medical history will be taken and you will have the chance to discuss the treatment thoroughly. The doctor will create a surgical strategy according to your own physical, aesthetic needs and medical history and will be there to answer all of your questions and guide you throughout the process.
3 BEFORE THE PROCEDURE
If you decide to proceed, on the day of your surgery you will meet the doctor again to discuss any last minute questions you may have and we will ask you for your final consent before the procedure.
4 DURING THE PROCEDURE
Bleph 21 (or FAMI-L) is performed under a block anaesthesia and sedation, to ensure the process is as comfortable as possible. To help correct wrinkles, dark circles and sagging eyebrows the FAMI™ technique will be applied in the top half facial area and lower body from where the stem cells are going to be extracted. If the doctor decides the right decision for the patient is to include an upper blepharoplasty with the procedure, a small incision is made on the crease of the upper eyelid, to avoid visible scarring. Unwanted skin can then be removed to reduce sagging skin on the eyelid. The doctor will extract the Adult Stem cells that will then get purified in a custom-designed centrifuge and introduced back into the patient’s top face area through a deep, cellular graft.
5 AFTER THE PROCEDURE
After the procedure you will have the time to relax in the recovery suite and the opportunity to discuss your following review appointment with the doctor.
Bleph 21 FAQs
What is the main difference between FAMI™ and the other techniques?
The FAMI™ technique involved in Bleph 21 is using stem cells harvested from the patient’s own body, as a result it is a more natural and soft approach to restore depleted facial volume.
Is the procedure safe?
FAMI™ technique, unlike standard face-lifting, has been shown to be a very safe procedure with uneventful follow up in the hands of doctors specifically trained in this procedure.
Where is Bleph 21 performed?
Bleph 21 will be performed at EF MEDISPA’s Kensington clinic which has a specially designed treatment room licensed by the Care Quality Commission. EF MEDISPA is open 7 days a week, which means there is always someone on hand to answer your queries after the procedure.
