THE BRAZILIAN BUTT LIFT WITH FAT TRANSFER
As we age, our skin starts to sag, including areas like our buttocks. Unfortunately, diet might not help to rectify a sagging, drooping bottom. Working out at the gym may help to tone, but for most women, it will not provide the shapely bottom they are seeking. The main bum enhancement options available are silicone buttock implants, bum injections using hyaluronic acid, or Fat Transfer to the buttocks, also known as the Brazilian Butt Lift.
The Brazilian Butt Lift with Fat Transfer has become the most popular option and is the one we specialise in at EF MEDISPA. This type of bum surgery is not as invasive as implants, and by using one's own body fat, rather than artificial butt filler, the procedure doesn't involve the risk of an adverse reaction to a foreign substance. At EF MEDISPA, Fat Transfer is a simple surgical procedure performed under local anaesthetic, with the option of conscious sedation, for maximum comfort.
During your consultation for the Brazilian Butt Lift with Fat Transfer to the buttocks you will confirm the area where you wish the fat to be removed from (often the abdomen or thigh area) and discuss where the fat will be positioned. Following your Fat Transfer procedure, EF MEDISPA can provide a variety of treatments, for tightening loose and sagging skin, to smooth cellulite, and more importantly to promote collagen production so that your skin remains firmer for longer. An on-going maintenance programme will be recommended to help keep your posterior plump and firm.
All treatments are tailored to the individual and personal experiences and results may vary. We recommend a one to one consultation with our treatment co-ordinators to discuss your treatment options.

STEP BY STEP BUTT LIFT WITH FAT TRANSFER
1 NO OBLIGATION CONSULTATION
The first step is a no obligation consultation with one of our highly experienced Treatment Coordinators. During this initial consultation your full medical history will be taken and you will be able to discuss the procedure in detail. After that, an appointment with one of our EF MEDISPA doctors will be booked.
2 MEET YOUR PRACTITIONER
Should you decide to proceed with Fat Transfer to the buttocks you will meet one of our expert doctors. Your full medical history will be taken and the surgeon will assess whether you are a suitable candidate for the procedure. This meeting will be the perfect opportunity to have all of your medical questions answered by the doctor and will give you the chance to discuss desirable and expected results. The exact duration and downtime will be determined by your doctor.
3 BEFORE THE PROCEDURE
If you are happy to proceed, you will meet with the doctor once again on the day of the surgery to discuss any last minute questions and give your final consent. Before the surgery you will meet the nursing team and the anaesthetist.
4 DURING THE PROCEDURE
Fat Transfer to the buttocks involves removing fat from one area of your body via Vaser Liposuction which will be then injected into your buttocks via tiny injections. The doctor will then create a small incision in one area and insert a small probe which transmits ultrasound waves. These waves will help liquefy the fat which will eventually get gently sucked and removed from the selected area. The same fat will be then injected through a small syringe into your buttocks to help add volume and lift your buttocks.
5 AFTER THE PROCEDURE
After the procedure, you will have the time to relax for a while in the recovery suite, the nurses will fit you into a support garment and the doctor will provide you with pain killers and antibiotics. Procedures carried out at EF MEDISPA are walk-in walk-out daytime surgeries, which do not require an overnight stay. Before you leave the clinic you will be booked for a review appointment with the doctor who will be there to assess your recovery and monitor your progress.
At EF MEDISPA aftercare plays a significant part not only in fast recovery but also to ensure the best possible results. Therefore, after the procedure, we offer a bespoke package of aftercare treatments where the patient will have the chance to have ultrasound, manual and electro lymphatic massages and other treatments designed to help the healing process.
You will be able to discuss the aftercare program during your first consultation with your Treatment Coordinator, as well as the doctor and nurses before and after the surgery.
BUTT LIFT WITH FAT TRANSFER FAQs
How does it work?
This minimally invasive procedure works by using Vaser Liposuction to harvest the fat from a particular area of the body and then inject into the buttocks to help produce the desired shape in the area you are seeking more definition. It is a walk-in walk-out procedure which can take up to a few hours.
Does it hurt?
In order to have Fat Transfer you will be administered a local anaesthetic. During the procedure there may be some discomfort, however EF MEDISPA’s caring, professional medical team will be there every step of way to ensure your procedure is as pain-free and comfortable as possible at all times.
Are there any side effects?
There will be some swelling and bruising as a result of having Fat Transfer to the buttocks. A full description and assessment of risks specific to your procedure and general risk associated with surgery will be discussed during the consultation with your surgeon prior to the procedure.
Will my results last?
When the buttocks are enhanced through Fat Transfer some of the fat will be metabolised by the body so not all of the fat will be retained, however what remains can be permanent as long as your weight is kept stable. Also, as your body ages the implanted fat will evolve and change naturally with your body.
Is Fat Transfer right for me?
During your appointment with the doctor, they will assess your full medical history and identify whether you are a suitable candidate for Fat Transfer.
