Body and Face injectable treatments have become a popular method to tackle multiple concerns such as wrinkles, fine lines and sagging skin.
Naturally, there are many questions that will spring to mind regarding injectable treatments if you’re thinking of considering treatment. Here are some common questions surrounding their application and results:
What Areas of The Face and Body Can Injectables Target?
Depending on what you want to achieve, face injectables can help to address many areas that are of concern for individuals of any age. The most common reasons for our clients to have injectables is to help smooth out fine lines and wrinkles such as ‘crow’s feet’ or ‘laughter lines’ that develop as we grow older, such as circles under the eyes as well as the loss of facial volume.
With body injectables, you can target concerns such as excessive sweating or to reduce the visible appearance of stretch marks. You can also target stubborn, localised fat in areas such as the abdomen, buttocks, back and legs.
What Are The Different Types of Injectables Available at EF MEDISPA?
Hyperhidrosis can help to reduce the issue of excessive sweating with injections applied to the underarm area.
Carboxy Therapy (also known as Rioblush) can boost microcirculation and new collagen production to help reduce fat in stubborn areas such as love handles, sides and thighs.
Profhilo is a ground-breaking anti-ageing injection that hydrates and remodels the skin to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. This rejuvenating treatment can be used on the face, neck, décolletage and hands.
Dermal Fillers are injectables that target parts of the face to plump, lift and enhance the facial features. Especially effective to uplift your cheeks and enhance the shape or size of your lips.
Volite Ha Boost injections are an innovative way to achieve a radiant, plumper, younger-looking appearance with long-lasting results that are applied all over the face.
Anti-wrinkle injections help to smooth out the common signs of ageing including laughter lines, frown lines and crow’s feet on the face.
Jowls Reduction injectables can target wrinkles on the neck area or sagging jowls by rejuvenating the skin around this area for a more defined jawline.
How Long Does an Injectable Treatment Take & Is There Any Downtime?
This can vary depending on the area being targeted on the face or body but usually lasts approximately 30 minutes, meaning you can fit them in during a lunch break or a very busy schedule. Injectables can bring about results much quicker than regular rejuvenation treatments.
In most cases, you will notice immediate results on the same day, especially with any dermal fillers. Facial injections will need approximately 10 days to settle before optimum results are seen.
How Safe are Injections for the Face and Body and are there any Side Effects?
Injectables are a safe and less invasive form of treatment that involves no major surgery or anaesthetic. Because of this, downtime is at a minimum and you will be provided with the relevant aftercare programme to ensure results are maximised.
Numbing cream can be applied during treatment also to help you feel as comfortable as possible. Some swelling and soreness can be expected after injectable treatment and can take up to 10 days to settle. You’ll find more information regarding specific aftercare on each treatment page.
Like any of our treatments at EF MEDISPA, injectables are carried out only by qualified and experienced medical staff, ensuring that you are comfortable and looked after throughout treatment.
