There’s nothing more refreshing in the summer then an ice cold smoothie, especially when they contain the great skin foods. They’re ideal for breakfasts on the go, or as a snack when you’re feeling peckish in between meals. If made with a mixture of healthy fruit and veg then it can be an extremely nutritious option. So we’ve gathered our favourite, most delicious smoothie recipes that you’ll be craving all summer long, each matched with a facial treatment to give your skin a well needed boost! (All of these recipes will require a blender).
We know how dull green smoothies can be, often the healthiest but the least tasty, however this smoothie really packs a punch. Containing some of the best foods for your skin, it’s filled with greens but has a delicious hint of ginger! Ginger is also known to have powerful antiseptic and cleansing qualities, so match with an LED Luminous Lift facial and give your skin an instant glow!
- Large handful of spinach leaves
- 1 apple cut into chunks (make sure all seeds are removed)
- Ginger (the size is up to you, we like to put a thumb size piece in so we can really taste it)
- 1/4 of a cucumber (remove half the peel)
- 200ml of water (or coconut water if you prefer)
Throw all your ingredients into your blender and blast for 1 minute. Test the consistency, if you would like it thinner add a little more water and blast for a further 30 seconds.

- Large handful of spinach
- 50g blueberries
- 50g raspberries
- Tbsp of flax seeds
- 200ml water (or coconut water if preferred)
- Ice cubes (options)
Blend all your ingredients together until preferred consistency.

- 1 orange (fresh) juiced
- Handful of kale
- 1 kiwi peeled & chopped
- 2 carrots
- ½ lemon
Put all your ingredients into your blender and turn on high for 1 minute, or until your desired consistency.
