Facial Laser Hair Removal
Most of us have a list of things we’d change about ourselves if we had a magic wand, but most of them are easy enough to hide for the time being. Unfortunately, unwanted facial hair isn’t one of them; even a daily shave can leave you feeling irritated in more ways than one. For both men and women struggling with unwanted hair, EF MEDISPA’s Laser Hair Removal treatment can be a simple, effective solution.
Our Laser Hair Removal treatment is ideal for the face, as it’s incredibly gentle, and can be performed on most skin types. It uses the Soprano laser, which passes light through the root of the hair and into the cells below, preventing the growth of hair. The combination of ‘in motion’ technology and a sophisticated cooling system will ensure you are feeling comfortable as the laser moves smoothly across your skin.
It’s fast, efficient, highly effective, and causes no damage to the surrounding facial skin, so you can return to your daily life as normal; you may just experience a slight redness. We will help design the perfect treatment regimen for your unique skin, but a course of six sessions is fairly typical. Our laser hair removal treatment is also available for both face and body areas.
All treatments are tailored to the individual and personal experiences and results may vary. We recommend a one to one consultation with our treatment co-ordinators to discuss your treatment options.

Step by Step Laser Hair Removal
1 NO OBLIGATORY CONSULTATION
The first step is to book a complimentary consultation with one of our highly experienced EF MEDISPA Treatment Coordinators. Your full medical history will be discussed and you will have the chance to discuss the treatment and have all of your questions answered.
2 BEFORE THE TREATMENT
Before you leave the Treatment Coordinator’s office a test patch will be booked for you. During that appointment you will meet with your practitioner who will carry out the treatment for a couple of seconds on a small area of skin. This patch test will give you an idea of the treatment, will help your practitioner understand the level of energy the treatment will require and is a safe way to test for any potential side effects before the full treatment.
3 DURING THE TREATMENT
Your practitioner will apply a gel that will enable the laser head to smoothly slide back and forward keeping the area treated cool to ensure you are feeling comfortable throughout the treatment. Most of our clients describe the feeling as a warm sensation while only some of them can experience a mild discomfort. At EF MEDISPA we are using the most advanced laser technology to gently treat your skin without downtime.
4 AFTER THE TREATMENT
Some people experience mild redness on the treated areas, but this should not last longer than 2 hours. After the treatment you should avoid direct sun light and heat treatments for 24 hours; it is recommended you wear SPF on areas that cannot be covered.
Laser Hair Removal FAQs
How does it work?
Laser Hair Removal works by using a laser head to target the base of hair follicles in order to disable the production of hair without affecting the skin around or the follicle itself.
When will I notice results?
During your course of treatments, you will eventually notice a gradual reduction in the amount of hair growing back.
Can I wax or pluck in between the treatments?
You should not wax or pluck in between the treatments as the treatment targets the root of the hair; if the hair has been eliminated beforehand the treatment will be ineffective.
How many treatments will I need?
A course of 6 treatments is usually recommended, but your practitioner will be able to assess the exact amount needed during your consultation.
How long does the treatment take?
The duration of the treatment depends on the size of the area you want to treat.
