What is Microblading London?
Microblading is a revolutionary treatment, perfect for those who desire thicker, fuller or newly shaped brows. Think of it as architecture for the eyebrows. The treatment is carried out by our highly experienced cosmetic therapist and involves using a specially designed blade to tattoo medical grade pigment onto the skin. Each featherweight stroke is carefully created by hand, with ultimate precision, to achieve a natural and authentic look.
Microblading offers a hassle-free way to achieve thicker and fuller-bodied semi-permanent eyebrows. It will save you having to pencil them in each morning and there’ll be no need for regular waxing appointments to maintain their shape.
Both fast and effective treatment that offers long-lasting instant results. The sensation experienced during the treatment is often likened to a delicate scratch -– similar to a paper cut, however, everyone’s pain threshold is slightly different. Our trained Cosmetic practitioner can also apply a topical anaesthetic over the brow area to minimise discomfort and help you relax.
Microblading is a completely bespoke treatment, tailored to your individual needs. During your consultation, we will discuss how you would like your brows to look and ensure the pigment is matched to your skin tone and hair colour. We’ll help you craft the perfect brow shape to compliment your face and make the most of your beautiful, unique features.
All treatments are tailored to the individual and personal experiences and results may vary. We recommend a one to one consultation with our Treatment Coordinators to discuss your treatment options.
How are Microblading eyebrows London different from eyebrow tattooing?Eyebrow Microblading London bears some similarity to eyebrow tattooing, in that a needle is used to add pigment to the skin, however, the overall technique and results differ significantly. Unlike with eyebrow tattooing, microblading involves using a handheld needle. Each individual brow hair is hand-drawn with great precision, to ensure your brows are perfectly sculpted. The overall look is significantly more natural than eyebrow tattoos and the subtlety won’t give your secret semi-permanent brows away.
With microblading eyebrows London, the pigment does not penetrate as deep into the layers of the skin as tattooing. Instead, the pigment settles on the epidermis (second layer of skin), allowing for a more natural finish. Of course, this means that microblading is semi-permanent, rather than permanent like tattooing. The pigment colour can last between 8-12 months, though it will begin to fade over time. This is why we recommend an annual top-up to boost the colour and perfect or alter your brow shape to your liking.
Is there a risk of an allergic reaction?Like with all of our new services and technologies, our microblading treatment has been put through an extensive internal testing process to ensure it is not only safe for our clients but also capable of fulfilling our high expectations in terms of results.
There are some people who are sensitive and allergic to some pigments, however, this is extremely rare. To ensure your safety, we will always carry out a patch or scratch test on your skin, prior to your appointment to check you are not allergic to the microblading pigment. If you have any questions or concerns regarding allergies, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with a member of the EF MEDISPA team.

Microblading Eyebrows London FAQs
How does it work?
A small needle is used to add pigment to your eyebrows.
Will it hurt?
The treatment is often likened to a paper cut as the blade is used to created light strokes on your eyebrows. To ease any discomfort, a topical anaesthetic is applied to the eyebrow prior to the treatment.
Is the procedure painful?
Buttock injectables are administered by our highly experience Plastic Surgeon under local anaesthetic, which means the patient will be awake during treatment, but unable to feel any pain as the buttock area will be completely numbed. In the first few days following the injections, the buttock area may feel tender and slightly swollen. The patient may require some mild pain relief such as paracetamol.
How long will the results last for?
The results can last up to 12 months.
How will I know I am suitable?
Prior to the treatment, you will meet with our Treatment Coordinator to discuss the options available to you. Should you wish to proceed with the treatment, you will be asked to meet with our Cosmetic Practitioner and carry out a patch test 48 hours before the treatment.
