Botox Wrinkle Treatment
Your skin is your canvas, and over time your laughter, smiles and daily worries will leave their mark in the form of fine lines and wrinkles. Each one tells its own story, but often it feels as though our skin is ageing faster than we are! Botox allows us to slow this natural process down, keeping our faces looking refreshed and rejuvenated whilst helping to smooth lines and wrinkles.
Botox Injections work by blocking the signals from the nerve to the facial muscles to stop them contracting, softening the lines and smoothing the skin.
Your procedure will be performed by one of our experienced practitioners at one of our London clinics; it shouldn’t take longer than 30 minutes and doesn’t require any anaesthesia. Botox is a simple, quick way to help smooth out those pesky lines around the forehead, eyes and mouth without any invasive surgery, returning your skin to its natural, youthful condition.

Step By Step Anti Wrinkle Injections
1 NO OBLIGATION CONSULTATION
Your first step is a NO OBLIGATION consultation with one of EF MEDISPA’s expert team who are trained to provide you with detailed information on the procedure involved in Botox Injections. After taking a full medical history, your adviser will be able to suggest what type of procedure is most suitable for you. Your appointment will then be booked with the Aesthetic Doctor or Nurse Practitioner for your procedure.
2 MEET YOUR PRACTITIONER
When you meet your practitioner you will have the opportunity to discuss the treatment process thoroughly and the results you are looking to achieve prior to treatment.
Should you wish to proceed with this treatment, your facial muscles will be examined, so that your practitioner will be able to determine where to administer the injections. Several tiny injections of Botox will then be injected precisely into the muscles that cause the frown lines. Pain is considered to be minimal and no anaesthesia is needed, though ice may be used to numb the area before and after your Botox treatment. This is a simple and quick process lasting approximately 10 minutes but no longer than half an hour. It involves no downtime so there is no disruption to your lifestyle and you can resume to normal activities straight after your treatment.
4 RESULTS REVIEW AND COMPLIMENTARY TOP UP
You will then be invited back into the clinic for review of your procedure two weeks after your initial appointment, as this is how long Botox requires to take full effect. This is to ensure you are 100% happy with your results. If you would like to top up your Botox during this review appointment your practitioner will provide a complimentary top up.
5 NEXT APPOINTMENT
Before leaving the clinic, our team will arrange your next appointment in 3-4 months time.
Before and After
Individual results may vary.
What is Botox?
Botox is a brand name for the purified form of a plant bacterium called botulinum toxin A. Although Botox is the most well known brand, there are other brands of botulinum toxin which are equally as effective. EF MEDISPA’s medical practitioners will be able to advise which is the most suitable for you.
How does Botox work?
When we laugh or frown our brain sends a signal to our muscles to make expression lines appear on our face. Botox is used to help smooth out the expression lines that are caused by those muscles.
